Eric Moeller

MUD 12 Candidate for Position #2

Eric’s combination of education and work experience has given him the skills and knowledge to understand the problems at the Waste Water Treatment Plant and to develop solutions for both mechanical and chemical deficiencies.  His experience with commercial and industrial systems also gives him knowledge of the reasonable costs of replacement, repair and maintenance of  the WWTP.

Eric has been a Bayou Vista resident for 18 years. He has a long history of community service and involvement.   As a Bayou Vista resident, he volunteered with the BV fire dept for 9 years.  He assisted with services ranging from medical emergencies to assisting in the recovery after Hurricane Ike.  Eric served as a patrol officer with the Bayou Vista Police department from 2003 – 2005.

Eric is an amateur videographer.  He has provided videos of the MUD 12 meetings, giving those who are unable to attend the ability to see and hear the Regular and Special Called meetings of the Board.

Over the last 20 years he has worked in several technical and challenging fields, including commercial and industrial HVAC, teaching grades 9-12 biology, chemistry, and forensic science and as a first responder in both fire fighting and law enforcement.  During this time, he also assisted in the management of his family’s 87-year-old bakery business.
